Additional information

This paper takes digital data streams and synchronises them to an accuracy greater than the sampling interval of its constituents. This research provides the reader with a formal mathematical analysis of the convergence properties of a novel, interval intersection method. This is needed in complex systems that fuse data from many sensors. There are many Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems that have difficulty fusing data together, but this method is validated with real-world data from a robot system that combines mechanical odometry with video data.
