This paper presents a model for acoustic modelling. Results show this proposed model can be used for fast and efficient acoustic environment modelling with no loss in accuracy. This solution has been included into a spatial audio rendering application to automatically configure itself for different user spaces and has been adopted by EU FP7 project ROMEO for further development.
