Additional information

Solution-processable metal oxide semiconducting devices based on spray pyrolysis demonstrated. The work enables large area coating that does not require vacuum deposition. This work has high impact for future electronics, including transparent electronics, touch-panel displays, energy-conversion and even flexible electronics. The work exploited in the First Grant EPSRC of Shkunov (£125k) (EP/I017569/1) to develop large area solution processable nanowire transistors and showcased at a One-day conference at NPL devoted to this area. Overall, this work will help reduce the carbon footprint in volume manufacturing in large printing processes.
