Additional information
This research on 'Future Internet' technologies proposes an architecture to support data transmission to devices that have multiple network interfaces. This research demonstrated that multi-connected communications can be controlled using modifications to the IPv6 protocol. Based on this work, an industrially funded PhD scholarship [Agilent Ltd, 2011-13, craig_renfrew@agilent.com] on internet protocol packet processing using graphics processing units (GPU) was subsequently progressed to further investigation.
