Writing Wales, from the Renaissance to Romanticism
The research imperative behind this edited collection is to question the traditional periodization of study in relation to scholarly treatments of Wales and to provide a comparative account of textual representations of Wales from the Renaissance to the Romantic periods. By bringing together the work of a group of scholars across a broad chronological sweep, the collection seeks to enable readers to chart the development of literary treatments of Wales across a substantive and formative period of history. Prescott co-wrote the Introduction (50%), edited Part 2 (50% of volume total) and contributed a chapter on seventeenth and eighteenth-century poetry.
