<08> This publication formed the key output from the Milepost EU FP6 project, reference 035307, which looked at incorporating machine learning into compiler optimisation for different computer architectures. The work was the first to show how to automatically optimise for new applications on new architectures. It was published in MICRO, one of the premier conferences in computer architecture, with an acceptance rate of 25% (52/209).
