Additional information

This chapter was the outcome of research undertaken as part of the ESRC funded Transformation of War Economies which was graded 'outstanding' by all three anonymous peer reviewers. From this chapter I was invited to become part of a working group of diasporas and peacebuilding at Uppsala University (funded by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affair), which had a workshop in Uppsala (in 2007). This work was also presented at two international conferences: World International Studies Conference, Llubjana (2008) and one panel at the International Studies Association, San Francisco in 2009.
