Blake and the Bible

In this interdisciplinary study it was necessary to demonstrate an adequate scholarly awareness of Blake scholarship, as well as the history of biblical interpretation which sought to demonstrate the level of knowledge expected in reception history of the Bible. The book required a period of data collection adding three-four years to the period one might normally expect to take for a biblical studies monograph of a similar magnitude, to demonstrate a satisfactory level of scholarly awareness. This work was done at the same time as directing a research project, which demanded one-two days a week of the applicant’s time.
