Additional information
This work has resulted in two funded projects by Toyota (GBP325k, RG 55180 and RG66157). The original algorithm is being exploited by Toyota Motor Europe in Belgium (Contact: ID_in_audit_file@toyota-europe.com) to label video training data efficiently (simple tool to propagate labels in starting image over video) for realtime object detection for autonomous vehicles. 2 patents awarded (US 20100239123 and US20130084008).
PhD student author, Ignas Budvytis, has set up a company in 2012, Cambridge Interactive Video, to exploit this technology in clickable advertising.
