Additional information

This paper evaluated saliva as a source of biomarkers of appetite. There is an unmet need for a robust and cost effective method of appetite assessment. The findings indicate that saliva has potential to provide an objective and cost effective measure of appetite, replacing current tests: the Visual Analog Score, and blood analysis which are, by contrast, subjective and invasive respectively. This work was performed in collaboration with Cultech, (contact: Director).
