Deployable structures consisting of linkages of bars have important applications, but to achieve practical applications simple forms of linkage have to combined into complete structures. Their geometry requires careful analysis, and this paper record a comprehensive study of a structure assembled from some basic linkage elements. The publication of this, and other, papers on mobile linkages led to commissioning of a monograph on the topic: You, Z. and Chen, Y.
