This technology included a full DICOM Library, one of only three full implementations worldwide. This standard is central to all commercial medical imaging technology today. Collaboration with MIT. Industrial impact through our Imperial College spin-out SME Visbion (http://www.visbion.com/ £1M annual turnover) with 400 systems sold in 10 countries, also changing IT-based care pathways within NHS. Work led to national and international presentations including Shanghai University, UNSW-Sydney, MIT, Qatar International Conference, International BioMed Engineering Conference-Munich, iHealth Meeting RCS London, Gulbenkian Institute Lisbon, Politecniko di Milan and CSIRO-Sydney. Grants: £395k and £2.6M EPSRC/MRC iHealth Awards (EP/F059221/1 2008, EP/H019804/1 2009; Kitney, PI).
