A combinatorial approach to biochemical space: description and application to the redox distribution of metabolism.
Led to talks at conferences (5th British Astrobiology Conference, April 2013 - see http://www.astrobiology.ac.uk/files/2013/03/ASB5-science-programme.pdf , 17th Evolutionary Biology Meeting, Marseilles, Sept 2013 - see http://sites.univ-provence.fr/evol-cgr/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=22&Itemid=42), further research presented at a Synthetic Biology Gordon conference in 2013 (June 9th thru 14th 2013, Chair Vitor V. Martins Dos Santos), a sponsored visit to give a seminar at Harvard in 2014 (Harvard Dept of Astronomy Chalk Talk 2014, invited by Dimitar Saselov), and a major international collaboration between myself and researchers at ETH Zurich (Janusz Petkowski)and MIT (Sara Seager) (contacts available). A follow-up paper on this research was submitted in autumn 2013.
