Additional information

The first suitable technique to be published for chemical-looping (CL) with solid fuels. The copper-based carriers are commercially-exploited by Gas-Recovery and Recycle Ltd (Cambridge Enterprise portfolio). for the clean-up of noble gases. Multi-institutional, UK-China collaborations, elucidating the materials-science of looping-materials, have emanated from this research to relate process-performance to structure, leading to funding by e.g. EP/I010912/1, EP/F027435/1 and Singapore CREATE.
