Additional information

<23> This is an initial work of an on-going collaboration with Professor Kaoru Hirota, from the prestigious Tokyo Institute of Technology. The results are published in a high quality publication (Impact-Factor-2008 = 3.279, five-year-impact-factor is 3.402). This is a pioneering work on a very difficult, but also challenging and important problem of finding the shapes which optimize Hu's moment invariants. Notice that Hu's invariants were introduced 50 years ago (6220 citations so far) and many related problems have been considered, but nobody has given any answer to this question. The paper has been widely cited.
