Additional information

This is the first paper to present a complete and consistent two-surface constitutive model for soil behaviour based on a hyperplastic framework.

The formulation embraces the classical underpinnings of Critical State soil mechanics and was guided by current discrete element findings, providing a unique a constant Critical State surface. The model was the subject of an invited seminar at the University of Glasgow in May 2012.
