Experiment designed jointly by Nolan and McDougall, who also wrote the paper. Experiment carried out mainly by research assistant Hudson under the guidance of McDougall, who was also responsible for statistical analysis. The work was funded under the ESRC VoiceSim project (Principal Investigator: Nolan, Co-Investigator McDougall).
