Additional information

The approach developed has been applied in 13 major engagements in multinational companies addressing the design of manufacturing and supply networks, emerging technology supply networks and the design of sustainable supply chains. Rolls-Royce (Steve Churchhouse: ID_in_audit_file@Rolls-Royce.com), GSK (Mark Phillips: ID_in_audit_file@gsk.com), Electrolux and Caterpillar are using the research to set strategy, and have reported impacts in terms of multi-million pound cost savings, improved competitive differentiation and substantial shifts in expenditure allocation. The work has also led to the publication of a practitioner guide for industry "Making the Right Things in the Right Places" (ISBN 978-1-902546-61-2).
