Additional information
As the UK scientist with the deepest involvement in the design of the optical system of GEO600, and a core member of the German-UK project team, I played a dominant role in commissioning the instrument. In particular I led the development and installation of the signal recycling optical topology, including aspects of the preparation for the integration of the squeezed light source which led to the reported outcomes.
