Additional information

<22>This paper, is an output from the UK/US International Technology Alliance (usukita.org). It was presented in AAMAS, a selective (>80% rejection) conference, and the most prestigious forum in multiagent systems. In contrast with nearly all work in the domain of computational trust, this work considers trust in information. It describes how such trust in information can be computed, and proposes heuristics for computing trust in the presence of conflicting information. An empirical evaluation confirms that the heuristics we describe are highly effective, much more so than the naive approaches used to date.
