Additional information

<22>IJCAI is the foremost international conference on Artificial Intelligence held biennially with very rigorous reviewing standards. This paper is distinct from Norman3 in that it addresses the problem of making decisions to delegate, given some assessment of trust. This forms a key component of the first author’s PhD (lead supervisor: Norman), one of two runners-up in the CPHC/BCS Distinguished Dissertations Competition, 2012. This is the first research to empirically evaluate the use of controls such as monitoring in multiagent systems.
