Air Transport and the European Union: Europeanization and its Limits
'Air Transport and the European Union' is the product of two periods of intensive research conducted over 20 years. It draws on more than 300 interviews conducted in eight cities, consultation of seven archives, and exhaustive scrutiny of prirmary and secondary documentation. The title should not obscure the project's scope: its breadth and depth are intended to set a new standard for the study of Europeanization. The book examines EU action over six decades in all aviation sub-sectors. It details changes in the global regime, presents four major country case-studies, and assesses both the domestic and the international impact of EU intervention.
