Additional information

This multi-disciplinary piece of work was performed in collaboration with the Probability and Statistics department at the University of Sheffield. It was the first use of Bayesian sensitivity analysis in a biomechanics model. The work led directly to a collaboration with the Politechnico di Torinocecilia.surace@polito.it and Nautilus S.p.A.(Contact details available), who sponsored a nine month research visit by the PhD student. It also led to an invitation to present the 2010 British Society for Strain Measurement (BSSM) measurements lecture for one of the authors.
