Double-weighted statement

This book is the result of an 8 year project at Kom Helul, Memphis, Egypt directed by Nicholson. Petrie’s work at the site is reassessed, experimental reconstructions are reported on, technological processes are discussed and important conclusions drawn. The relationship between the faience of the Pharaonic period and that of the Roman period is examined and significant differences are identified and discussed. The book is 322 pages long and is supplemented with a catalogue on DVD. Most of the volume is authored by Nicholson except for the appendices, two co-authored chapters and one chapter by Nenna.
