Additional information

<32> cs4fn, CSUnplugged and my CSInside project are the most significant projects in providing inspirational CS materials for school teachers.  This paper compares the design philosophy of each programme, reporting on how these materials should be developed.  The CSInside workshop design philosophy is unique in how it 'grabs' and 'sustains' pupil interest and supports concept retention and how it targets the 12-18 age group, drawing on established instructional design theory.  Such instruction is important, given the major focus on development of CS Education around the world.  ITiCSE is the primary European venue for innovative CS educational approaches.
