Additional information

Availability of high-speed optical experimental mechanics makes full-field dynamic testing of materials and structures possible. An adaptive shape decomposition technique based on 2-manifold was developed to process the measured and information redundant full-field data. It is successfully tested on vibration testing of a Fiat bonnet. This technique is generally applicable to process full-field measurement on common engineering components, which are usually non-flat with holes/cuts etc. This technique is being considered for commercialising by Dantec Dynamics GmbH. Also, it is adopted by a EC 7th Framework

Project: ‘Validation of Numerical Engineering Simulations: Standardisation Actions’ NMP3-SA-2012-319116 as an important tool for data processing.
