Additional information

Reporting results from complex experimentation and theory on mapping molecular conformation under high temperature flow using small angle neutron scattering (SANS). The necessity of using molecular modelling rather than standard fluid dynamical formulations for complex non-Newtonian flow predictions was proven in the paper, of interest to both academia and industry. Gough was instrumental in design of the flow rig and performed all SANS measurements. He is the only co-author on all papers using this equipment including the novel instrumentation development (Review of Scientific Instruments 74(9), p.4052) and a highlight Science paper (Science 301, p.1691).
