Additional information

This paper draws upon our work within the European Commission (EC) funded project VIDE, wherein we developed accessible requirements (business process) models, as part of a model driven toolset, to address the inadequacies of model driven approaches. This approach, of having such accessible models, was subsequently reflected in the commercial tools of VIDE partners, thus having direct industrial impact on development practice. The first author (Fouad) was supervised by Phalp, completing his PhD successfully in August 2011, and related work has fed into teaching, student projects, Knowledge transfer and new collaborations, e.g., current work with University of Valencia.
