Interseccionalidad y diversidad: en defensa de un modelo de análisis categorial no opresivo que respeta la diferencia
Maria Lugones, a Latin-American philosopher, has claimed that intersectional categorial analyses are oppressive, exclusionary, and follow the colonial logic. This article builds upon recent work of Anne Garry, Leslie McCall and Nira Yuval-Davies to show that it is possible to make intersectional analyses that are inclusive and non-oppressive. It will be argued that it is important to make a reflective use of the different types of intersectional analysis available, including intercategorial, intracategorial and anti-categorial analysis taking into account the different contexts (institutional, national and transnational) in which these are going to take place.
