The dependence on reliable accuracy of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) by small satellites to determine their position is vital, though the antennas they use makes them vulnerable to error due to multipath reflections on board. An advanced low cost, lightweight and compact antenna solution is presented that is being considered by SSTL for incorporation onto future satellites.
