Additional information

<12>This work is about fault-tolerant communication on multiple channels with signal interference. Its main focus is on how performance of such systems depends on the severity of failures. This research direction has been further continued in many papers, including Dolev et al. [PODC'2009] and Newport and Lynch [DISC'2011]. It was also described in the survey by Young and Boutaba [IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials'2011] as one of the important contributions to reliability and security in sensor networks.
