<06>In this paper, we show that a combination of mobile agents and client/server schemes produces a superior result with adaptive mobile intelligence. This breaks the tradition of the widely used SNMP, and could have significant influence on how network managers perceive and consider faults in the networks. Several papers have been inspired by this work for a range of activities such as monitoring and service search.
