Led to the Geography Collective (www.geographycollective.co.uk ), a group of academics, teachers, educators, artists and activists who have “come together to encourage (young) people to see our world in new ways”. Key activities include the publication of three “Mission:Explore” children’s books, a website www.missionexplore.co.uk and online learning resources www.discoveringplaces.co.uk funded from a Cultural Olympiad Grant (£50,000; Co-I: Askins).
