The reported experimental results attracted a collaboration with IBM's T.J. Watson Research Center (Dr J. Tersoff, ID_in_audit_file@us.ibm.com; Dr F Ross, ID_in_audit_file@us.ibm.com), which resulted in a shared PDRA currently hosted by IBM over a 2 year period (Federico Panciera, Dec. 2012-Nov 2014, Joint study agreement W1259950) in line with IBM’s ongoing interest in this line of research. The significance of this work is further reflected in 4 invited talks at major international conferences (MRS Fall 2013, EMC 2012, International Nanowire Growth Workshop 2012, SemiconNano 2011).
