Memoirs of Women Writers Volumes 1-4

Memoirs of Women Writers is a four-volume set comprising new editions of three texts selected for their focus on writing women’s lives of the eighteenth- and nineteenth centuries. Conceived of as a set, it can only be purchased as such. Volume 1’s General Introduction focuses upon the interrelation of all volumes, reflects upon the literary cultures to which they contribute, and considers specific subjects/authors. Volumes include editorial notes. Volumes 3 and 4 comprise the third title, originally published across two volumes. 1, 2, and 3 include introductions specific to each title: the latter introducing, but not reprinted in Volume 4.
