Additional information

<15>Originality: This paper introduces new approaches based on naïve Bayesian classifier and information gain for handling missing values in real healthcare dataset with many missing values.

Significance: Computational results show the robustness, efficiency and superiority of our proposed models over the existing ones and in particular in predicting long stay patients.

Rigour: Decision tree C4.5 was used to evaluate the performance of our proposed four models as well as some of the well known methods.
