Additional information

This paper presents the use of conformal mappings, discrete vortices, Lagrangian advection, and tools from nonlinear mechanics to understand advection and mixing processes in a wavy walled channel. International collaborations to exploit this work are being established with UiTM, Malaysia (Leewei994@salam.uitm.edu.my) e.g. modelling of chaotic mixing in density-stratified lakes, and to model chaotic motion of sea lice in a Scottish loch (B.Rabe@marlab.ac.uk, Marine Scotland Science).
