<21> This was the first work to report the absolute energy cost of actions

taken on the phone rather than reporting average power of particular

phone states.

There have been many presentations of the work including: Imperial

College, Oxford University, Citrix, Google, HP Research, Technicolor

Research, UC Berkeley and Intel.

PerCom is an IEEE Computer Society international conference which has

run since 2003. In 2010 the acceptance rate was 11.5%. This paper

received the best paper award. An extended version was published in

Pervasive and Mobile Computing (Elsevier) See: Measuring mobile phone
