Additional information

<19>This work on Information Flow Control (IFC) was used by ECRIC (Eastern Region Cancer Registry now the National Cancer Registry Service, Public Health, England) in the SafeWeb system (end to end security for healthcare data) for controlled disclosure of cancer

records. The SafeWeb architecture was augmented with anonymisation of data sets for release for research purposes by Thomas Pasquier (Computer Laboratory MPhil then Bacon's PhD student and RA on

EPSRC CloudSafetyNet). Pasquier's system is now fully

engineered, with a web interface to be made available via the Brain Tumour Patient Information Portal for releasing braintumour records to individual patients.
