Additional information

The result of a collaboration with the University of Buenos Aires funded by the Royal Society (£12k), this work provided the proof of concept that is feasible to achieve simultaneous EEG and eye-tracking recordings. These results led to an EPSRC funded project “Bridging the gap between eye movements and event-related potentials” (>£100k) and to an on-going PhD project (funded by EPSRC). Grant reviewers unanimously indicated that this line of research should have significant impact both on clinical work, as well as in human vision. Its possible application on the detection of drivers’ fatigue has received wide media coverage.
