Additional information

The author (a) made a substantial contribution to the acquisition of data and the analysis and interpretation of the study data, and (b) helped critique the output for important intellectual content.

This paper continued the development of multi metallic complexes for bimodal imaging applications, by combining optically emissive and magnetic f block probes in one system whilst using the chromophore as both linker and sensitiser of the emissive f block component.
