The original work was funded by the BROAD medical foundation of the USA. It led to a second grant from this funder and now being commercialised through a TSB grant (Grant No. 131272) with Owlstone Ltd (contact Dr B. Boyle – billy.boyle@owlstone.co.uk). It is also part of a NIHR (National Institute Health Research) programme grant “FAMISHED” (UKCRN ID. 8459).
