Upon initial preliminary identification within the Pan-STARRS data-processing pipeline by the first 4 authors, I acquired key confirmation data to show it was indeed an active comet in a main-belt asteroid orbit, and measured its activity. My work allowed both a better orbit to be calculated and further follow-up observations to be scheduled.
