Additional information

This original research paper provides a detailed comparison of transepidermal water loss (TEWL) measurement technologies in specific skin barrier, hydration and micro-climate applications. This has enabled users to have a better understanding of TEWL measurements and improved interpretation of the results. This paper is highly regarded by scientists in the area, and was chosen as paper-of-the-year in 2009 by the International Journal of Cosmetic Science.
