Double-weighted statement

This book took five years to complete. The project required an in-depth understanding of the complex interaction of global, regional and domestic jurisprudence as it relates to minority groups. While located within the realm of international human rights law, the work also exposes the comparative role of adjudication by examining various jurisdictions, including global treaties, Inter-American, African and European regimes, as well as elements of European law. It draws on constitutional, legal and political theory to explore the role of courts in plural societies. The output brings those diverse sources together into novel conceptual framework for assessing judicial discourses concerning minority group issues.
