Additional information

High fidelity mathematical models of thin fluid films driven by droplet impact and wall motion in aero-engine bearing chambers have been formulated in collaborative research with Rolls Royce to address problems of stability, flow around obstacles and heat transfer. The models are used to bench mark the performance of commercial codes in collaboration work with Rolls Royce (Mike Walsh: Michael.Walsh@Rolls-Royce.com)
