Additional information

Paper explains several functions of mammalian inner ear. It provides model that describes compressive non-linearity of hearing that reproduces experimental data. Further investigation shows that unified approach of model is even capable of explaining how sound emissions occur within inner ear; this disproves long-standing conjecture of coherent reflection theory. Paper is identified as research group highlight in REF5.
