Additional information

Semi-active control is efficient way of suppressing structural vibrations without power consumption required for active control. Challenge is to design suitable controller for such suppression systems, because they are inherently non-linear. Paper draws link between semi-active control and constrained intermittent control, which will potentially lead to more robust semi-active controller design by exploiting established intermittent-control theory.
