Additional information

One of the major challenges to overcome in the use of medical sensor networks on the human body is the possibility of mutual interference between many users in the same vicinity. This paper was the first to demonstrate that significant interference rejection between body area networks (BANs) can be obtained with multiple antenna systems. Khan was Hall’s PhD student, Nechayev his RA and Ghanem a Visiting Researcher. Results contributed to the award of a follow on EPSRC grant of £1.3M for a three university collaboration.
