Follow-on work by the authors appeared in premier journals IEEE T Evolutionary Computation and Theoretical Computer Science (that are not returned). Led to further development of population-based evolutionary algorithms internationally (e.g. by researchers at Max-Planck-Institut Fur Informatik, Germany; Universidad de Malaga, Spain; and Massey University, New Zealand).
